Happy Birthday Second Wave!
It's Second Wave's second year of being a website, and how we've changed since the site first began! We have the largest 24 image gallery on the internet, an expanding video gallery, episode guides, research files, downloads, transcripts and loads more!To celebrate the anniversary I've added the screencaps from the first six episodes of Season 1 to the gallery! That's 2180 new images added to the gallery!
I've been away for the last two weeks, so I know the blog is behind on some news; never fear! It will be up very soon!Happy birthday Second Wave!
Ben Rock Interview!
I've done an interview with the director of the upcoming film Alien Raiders, starring 24's own Carlos Bernard. He talks about Carlos' performance, the movie itself, his love of 24 and his interesting and diverse career. To read the interview, go here. In other news, as you may have read on the Blog, due to a problem caused by me we have lost all of our archived news. But never fear! The blog is continuing and will always provide you with the latest 24 news, as well as all the gossip on the actors and crew involved with the show. It's still at the same URL so nothing will change - just unfortunately you will no longer get to see the old posts. I have reposted everything from the last couple of days again in case you missed anything from then. Sorry for the inconvenice!
Day 3.5 Part 2 - Coming Soon!
I've been saying I'll do it for a long long time, and finally it's very nearly finished. I have the final touches to add to the second part of my feature length fan fiction "Day 3.5, Operation WildFire", and it will be released online on Saturday 23rd August 2008. Here's a sneak peak from the opening moments;9.00.02 a.m. Tony looked at the clock. Just one hour to go. From there he wandered outside into the yard. He looked around. In prison it was quite clear that there was several distinct groups. The Blacks were in one corner, playing basketball. The Latinos were by the benches, looking as if they were scheming something. The skinheads stood by the fencing, as if they thought if they pushed hard enough it would all over and they could escape. Tony squinted in the sun, wondering what to do. He saw an empty space over by a wall and went to sit down. He pushed the pebbles into small piles around him. Suddenly, the basketball rolled over near him. One of the black players headed over towards him, and Tony picked the ball up and threw it to him.“What you think you’re doing, touchin’ our ball?” He questioned. His face was inches away from Tony’s face, he could feel the man’s breath crashing onto his face. His blinked it out of his eyes.
“I, er, was just tryin’ to pass it over to you...” He trailed off.
“We don’t want no traitor touchin’ our ball, do we boys?” The rest of the crowd yelled in response, gaining the attention of the other groups. Tony did not like where this way going. “You should stay away from us, traitor. Just ‘cause you got the President on your side on the outside, doesn’t mean he can help you in here.” He began to chuckle, and pushed Tony. A guard noticed.
“Hey you two, break it up over there.”
“We just playin’ around, ain’t we Almeida?” Tony gave a brief, unconvincing nod.
“I said we just playin’, Almeida!” Tony looked around, knowing what was coming. Before he could think Gums’ fist collided with his face.

Day 3.5 Part 2 - Released Today!
Day 3.5 Part 2 has finally been released! Yes, after five months and twelve days I finally mustered up the enegry finish writing another six chapters of the Operation WildFire mission! You can check it out here. In other news, I've been updating the site with screencaps from Season 1. We've now got 3733 images from the first ten episodes.
Mark Kiely Interview
Mark Kiely, who will be playing Agent Vossler in the upcoming 24: Exile and Season Seven has done an interview about his role on the show and given us some (minor) insights into his character! Obviously he couldn't reveal anything about the show's plot, and so his secretive interview does not reveal much, but it can be read here!< back
