The Libraries at the University of California, Santa Barbara are made up of the Donald C. Davidson Library and the Arts Library. The Davidson Library is named in honor of Donald C. Davidson, University Librarian from 1947 to 1977. The libraries at UCSB have a collection of approximately 2.6 million volumes, and online users can access catalogs, databases of articles and books, complete electronic journals, and other scholarly sources. The UCSB Libraries are open to the public and serve a campus of 18,800 students.
