| 24 SERIES SIX DVD REVIEW
Season 6 might be the most complex season yet. Jack Bauer is returned from China only to find terrorists on American soil. With America under repeatedly under attack, Bauer finds himself face to face with Abu Fayed, the terrorist Leader. He must stop Fayed from detonating a nuclear weapon (which he fails to do), save the woman he loves from psychological catastrophe (which he fails to do), and rescue his nephew from Jack’s father (manages, but kills his father in the process). Oh, and the presidency is unstable, as well. All in a day’s work for Jack Bauer, right?

Pros
- Another good baddie - Graem Bauer. However, he was killed off too quickly.
- Good character developments.
Cons
- Graem Bauer killed off too quickly.
- Short storylines resolved quickly.
- Poor stoylines (see below).
- I know he's Jack Bauer, but as if he could get back into the action that quickly!

DVD REVIEW:
|
I started watching this series wondering pessimistically whether the magic would finally give out. I got to the end happy that it hadn't! Another great series that keeps you hanging on to see the next episode. However, there is the occasional bad line and plot twist that should not have happened (e.g. the odd connection with Phillip Bauer and Charles Logan that is never explained, the idea of Wayne Palmer being President (and then putting him in a coma - twice), LISA MILLER in general etc.). But like I said, it was still a good season: the plot as you'd expect involves a host of madmen bent on destruction and in the middle is Jack Bauer - what could be better? |
