I have started to keep a blog about the cinematic experience of watching a film in a cinema and how different venues can affect the experience of the film. This refets to the 'haptic' cinema experience; that is the sensory
feel that cinemas offer in terms of sight, sound, feel, smell and hear beyond the film itself. From the smell of popcorn to the friendliness of the staff, the importance of the haptic cinema experience is far more important than many consider.
